Welcome to Life Above the Negativity. This site started as the communications hub for the 2009 Life Above the Negativity International Campaign. With the success of that campaign, and more material produced, we've started developing seminars to help train, impart and encourage followers of Christ in key areas.

Ministering with Expectancy

9 sessions
Jesus told His disciples to “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons.” Then He commissioned those disciples to make other disciples and to “teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.” That shouldn’t make us feel guilty - it’s a wonderful invitation.

You can live out the truth that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is alive in you. You can learn to minister in the church and outside its walls. This is not for the “super-saints” it’s for those “eagerly desiring” more of God.

• Learn how to pray for the sick, bring inner healing and deliver from demons.
• Receive impartation to Prophesy and use Words of Knowledge.
• Know how to powerfully minister, always honoring the individual.

Building a Foundation of Honor

4 sessions
Ask a person what they think about the term “Christian” and 90% will respond with something negative. It’s because the church has missed the fact Jesus didn’t come into the world to condemn (John 3:17). We lead you through:

• Understanding Judging
• Why We Honor All People
• How We Honor in Conflict
• How We Honor the Unhonorable

Freedom by Forgiveness

4 sessions
Forgiveness is an easy idea to understand and one of the most difficult ones to consistently practice. Unforgiveness leads to spiritual immaturity, and can lead to emotional and even physical sickness. We can’t assume people know and practice forgiveness.

• Asking for Forgiveness
• Knowing I'm Forgiven and Forgiving Myself
• Do I need to Forgive the Father?

Knowing How to Encourage Hope

4 sessions
The battle for hope is the battle for identity and so it’s a battle we all need to fight. Every one of us will have a phone call, conversation, or communication that knocks the wind right out of us. It’s essential we all know how we can encourage others to hope. The seminar topics include:

• Attack and Recover All
• Considering Why

Living Life Above the Negativity

4 sessions
We live in a negative world filled with fear, worry, criticism and the daily news doesn’t help keep the peace that passes understanding. Learn the tools to be able to sleep in the boat as the storm rages along. Know how to speak “peace” and see the waves calm.

• Breaking Out of Self Condemnation
• What to Do in a Negative Environment
• Overcoming Bitterness and Disappointment
• Taking Responsibility for our Thoughts and Tongues

Taking God On the Streets

4 sessions
We’ve taken four components of “Ministering with Expectancy” and turned them into a crash course on ministering the supernatural on the streets and shops where you live.

• Learn how, and receive impartation to prophesy and use words of knowledge.
• Learn the 5 step prayer model taught by Randy Clark of Global Awakening
• Take a team to go Treasure Hunting and find the treasures God has in store for you to impact supernaturally.

Trevor Lund was Senior pastor for seven years at Richfield Christian Fellowship in Edmonton Alberta before the Father asked him and his wife to lay family, friends, finances and their future on the altar. The story has taken them around the world and is not finished being written.

Trevor has written the booklets “The Freedom of Forgiveness” and “How to Judge Without Being A Jerk” as well as the 40 day devotional “Life Above the Negativity - from 10 minutes a day” Together they’ve written “How to Hope At the End of the Rope.”  And yes, Trevor is known online as revtrev and has been ranked #1 on Twitter in Edmonton.
